Dress Up

This past weekend I got together with three friends, an actress, actress/photographer, and makeup artist. We photo shot it up. Magic happened. Spandex evolved. Trannies, 80s, Cholas, the British, and Chappelle emerged. Here are a few gems I was in from our shoot:

Hahaha I like to call this one "Obsessive Ex".

Street Class meets High Class.

Tranny Gangsta.

The Good Wife

About a month ago I shot a guest star role on the pilot of the new CBS show "The Good Wife". It's a legal drama, and I was Sandra Pai, a tough 27 year old lawyer from the DA's office in Chicago. I'm only one quarter chinese, but in TV land I find that's enough to be considered asian haha. Fine by me! I was young, intelligent, ambitious, and a bit merciless. I was also well put together. My black spike pumps, slicked back pony (which had so much spray it would stay without the tie), and smart suit attested to that. I was the second prosecutor in the main court case of the episode.

This is me with my partner, the first prosecutor played by Chris Butler. Notice the composed faces...the DETERMINATION! It was a kick ass experience. The director Charles McDougall was great, and I was a sponge soaking up everything I could from watching everyone work.

My close up!

This was our desk with our notepads, evidence, and other things so thoroughly designed by props. All I could think when I saw the water jug was of the outtake in Liar Liar where Jim Carrey pretends the sound of him pouring water is him taking a wonderfully long and satisfying piss.

Ice Twisters

In October of last year, I shot my first really BIG role. One of six leads in the TV movie Ice Twisters. I was Ashley, one of a duo of college students on a class journalism project. My dream was to be a reporter! My current step in that direction was to ace this project. However, due to some unexpected circumstances, that might not happen. I'm 'by the book', think inside the box, and easily irritated by things I can't control, including my classmate Eric (Kaj-Erik Eriksen) who was about the exact opposite of me. Here are on set:

Hahaha....yes POSERS I know. Also Ashley wouldn't look like that in picture. She'd be anxiously running over how she was going ace her project, and ignoring anything unexpected or unnatural.

We shot out in Maple Ridge, mostly outside and in cold warehouse type buildings so the huge cosys sets always have sure came in handy.
